I arrived today feeling quite excited about my play with Zubin and Victoria. However, I received a message from Victoria saying she wasn't feeling well and couldn't make it to class. I panicked a little, but Zubin said we could keep the same plot but improvise. This time, I would be the wife and he's the husband. We'll be talking about our daughter, Victoria who always comes home late yet she wants a car. When we started out, I was complaining to Zubin on how Victoria was always coming home late. As we talked about her, our conversation slowly started evolving around ourselves as we laughed about our silly mistakes in the past as a couple. Everything was impromptu and I couldn't help but laugh at some of the things Zubin had to say. In the end, we managed to make many of them laugh and we got some pretty good comments. Ms Pat did point out that we were kind of frozen in our positions although our mouths did all the talking. I remembered to take note on that. The rest of the class did their play. Many were very entertaining especially Jia Yuan and Jia Yun who were lesbian partners breaking up. They were both really in character and there was even a point where I felt like crying for Jia Yun who appeared to be really heartbroken. Kudos to both of them! Later on, we all drew numbers to determine our group for the final play. I'm in the same group as Jia Yuan, Patrick, Brigidta, Jing Kai, Hyo Bin and Anne, all of which I find are really talented, and I couldn't ask for a better group :) |
